Take 1 has the details that make a difference in every impression, utilizing an exclusive formulation made possible through chemistry proprietary to Kerr. A unique five-vinyl blend and a bimodal filler system inside each viscosity of Take 1 and the result is a material that works consistently and easily in virtually any impression-taking situation.

The vinyl blend within each viscosity provides incredible tear strength and a high percent of elongation for accurate, results every time. A forgiving and easy-to-use impression material, you’ll get a highly detailed reproduction without rebound or distortion. Take 1 is actually stretchy by design, stretching around undercuts without tearing or deformation. Patient discomfort is greatly minimized since the impression is easily removed from the mouth. If rigid material is your preference then Take 1 gives you the rigidity you demand without the dangerously high durometer of competitive materials.

The bimodal filler system within the formulation offers a material that optimal dispensing without slumping in the tray or dripping from the prepared teeth. These thixotropic properties result in great handling and intraoral performance. The beautiful marginal reproductions lead to accurate results from every impression. Just Take 1, and you’re done!

A lower contact angle measure means greater “wettability” displacing oral fluids for a more detailed impression. To improve hydrophilic properties Take 1 combines its proven surfactant with a patented hydrophilic monomer, resulting in a truly low contact angle. This proprietary additive provides an excellent surface energy within the material, and therefore unsurpassed detailed reproductions, even in the presence of blood and saliva. The beautiful marginal reproductions lead to accurate results from every impression and reproduction is a work of art.
