Take 1 Technical Info.

Take 1

Take 1 and you're done...

Take 1 Wash is a low-viscosity syringe material that flows easily without dripping from the preparation. Its hydrophilic property offers amazing detail even in the presence of blood and saliva, and its bright orange color increases visibility of marginal detail.

Take 1 Medium/Monophase can be used as a syringe or tray material. It’s an excellent choice for denture impressions and perfect for the dentist who prefers a more thixotropic syringe material.

Take 1 Tray is a non-slumping tray material that’s easy to remove from the mouth yet makes distortion-free impressions standard. It’s versatile enough for quadrant or full-arch impression trays, and it's available in your choice of standard cartridge or Volume™ (5:1) delivery.

Take 1 Rigid Tray is a considerably firmer tray material with a slightly higher durometer than Take 1 Tray. Rigid Tray is designed to compensate for the tendency of some impression trays to permanently deform, potentially causing distortion. When using the triple-tray technique, Rigid Tray is firm enough to keep the tray from flexing yet stretchy enough for easy, distortion-free removal.

Technique Guide

1. Insert cartridge into impression gun with notched collar facing down.
image
2. Before use, bleed the cartridge to ensure even extrusion of both base and catalyst.
image
3. Attach mixing tip and intraoral tip to the cartridge for syringing the Wash material intraorally from the impression gun.
image
4. Create a custom impression tray with Easy Tray thermoplastic tray material.
image
5. Teeth prepared for bridge.
image
6. Syringe Take 1 Wash around the first preparation. The 5-vinyl blend of Take 1 Wash captures a high amount of detail.
image
7. Syringe Take 1 Wash around the second preparation. The hydrophilic properties of Take 1 Wash are ideal for any impression taking situation.
image
8. The Take 1 Wash material fully syringed. The viscosity of Take 1 Wash is free-flowing when under pressure yet stays in place in the mouth.
image
9. Insert the Easy Tray impression tray filled with Take 1 Tray material in the mouth. The thixotropic viscosity of Take 1 Tray material drives Wash into the sulcus as it is inserted.
image
10. The Take 1 impression with unsurpassed detail and accuracy every time.
image
11. Note the clean margins of the Take 1 impression. Take 1’s proprietary formulation – with a blend of 5 vinyls, a bimodal filler and hydrophilic monomers – captures exacting marginal reproductions.

12. A beautiful final restoration that fits perfectly.
