Course objectives for each participant:

1. Understand the current OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and CDC infection control directives.

2. Identify patient and employee safety hazard(s) in dentistry and how to correct them.

3. Learn proper personal protective equipment, disinfection, sharps disposal, needlestick management, sterilization, proper handling of instruments, and extracted teeth.
