Tytin is a high-quality spherical silver amalgam. With a high silver content, Tytin is a smooth and easy-to-work with product. When using this dental alloy, Class I restorations allow polishing almost immediately after initiation of use. Like the Contour product, Tytin capsules are self-activating and also work with any amalgamator. The Tytin-Firm Condensation formula is of especially high-quality, and blends both firmness for good resistance, and sufficient plasticity to flow into the corners of the tooth. It finishes smoothly and with good appearance for increased patient satisfaction. Like the Tytin capsules, Tytin FC is self-activating and doesn’t require any additional equipment or activation device.

Finally, Kerr Dental is proud to offer OptiMix, a programmable amalgamator. Fully computerized, this product can be used with many different dental alloy products and is specially designed to ensure consistency of your mixes. Even better, OptiMix doesn’t use control cards, and is instead controlled by a programmable
