Techniques for Improved Endodontic Outcomes

Dr. Joseph Chikvashvili graduated with a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, Honors Program in June of 1996. He completed his D.D.S. degree in May 2001 from the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery, in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was President of his Senior Class. After being named Chief Resident at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he completed his G.P.R. training, he worked for one year in private practice in central New Jersey. He then completed his post-graduate training in endodontics at Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he received his C.A.G.S. in June of 2005. In 2013, he received a certificate for completing a 2-year CDE course in implantology at NYU. He is currently Director of Endodontics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and practices endodontics full-time in West Orange, New Jersey. He was elected President of Essex County Dental Society in 2012. And he is also a Past President of the NJ Association of Endodontists; he remains active in many other organizations. He has published several articles in various journals, including Inside Dentistry, Parkell Today, Oral Health, and Compendium. He lectures across the United States, and has been included in New Jersey Monthly’s Top Dentists list for greater than 10 years.
