Dental diamond discs are integral in the fabrication, contouring, and shaping of dental restorative materials.  Kerr Dental is proud to offer a full line of rotary diamond discs in a variety of sizes, types, and grits. In addition to the standard NTI Flex and Interflex discs, Kerr offers both single- and double-sided discs that come in serrated, sintered, and perforated blades. All NTI Diamond Discs are pre-mounted by the manufacturer for precise concentricity.  They are available in HP or RA shank and sold individually.

When creating dental restorative materials, the use of a dental diamond disc is integral in not only the fabrication, but also in the contouring and shaping of the restoration. This process requires the ultimate precision and control in order to create restoratives that are comfortable for the patient. Kerr Dental is proud to offer NTI Dental Diamond Discs to help dental professionals with their restorations. All NTI Diamond Discs are pre-mounted by the manufacturer for precise concentricity and optimal functioning.  Each disc is subject to the Unimatrix Bonding process, which offers a uniform positioning of the diamonds. This provides more exposure of the diamond surfaces to improve cutting ability and minimize clogging of the instrument. The NTI Flex comes in both single- and double- sided diamond discs that is available in an HP shank. It also comes in either medium or coarse grit with a head size of either 190 or 220. The NTI Interflex also comes in both single- and double-sided discs, with a medium diamond grit to remove excess material in a fast, yet gentle manner to reduce your time spent grinding the restoration. The NTI Serrated blade is perforated to increase self-cleansing properties, and is designed to be used on moist plaster.

If you are looking for a diamond disc with a long service life, consider either the NTI Sintered blade, which has maximum stability resulting from a high-density blade, or the NTI Turbo Crown Cutter, which has a galvanic edge design to prevent breakage of the blade.  Specialty materials, like ceramic, porcelain, and composite veneers require special care during contouring and cutting. The NTI SuperFlex blade is recommended for use with porcelain and composite veneers due to its extra flexibility. The NTI Turbo Superflex can be used in the laboratory for cutting through ceramic restorations.
